The Tea & Noodle Time Browns Plains, Brisbane store was open and trading in just 10 weeks!!

From concept drawings to opening day, the outlet Browns Plains restaurant is the Flag Ship in their already successful “Noodle Time” outlets in Myers Centre, Post Office Square and Queens Plaza centres.

Overall, the design brief was to use materials and applications that would reflect an environmentally friendly appearance, the ‘’Recycled’’ timber contributes to the conservation of old growth forests, increases carbon storage & lowers greenhouse gas emissions and by adopting this approach it reflects our ongoing responsibility to the planet’s health & well-being for future generations to enjoy.

The comprehensive shop fit out of the new store covered designed, construction and project management by the team at G & K Projects, who delivered on-time and in budget, as always.

CONSTRUCTION HIGHLIGHTS:

The tenancy fit out included, an impressive steel gantry with beams, posts and wire mesh screening finished in a Gold powder coating, 55inch high definition TVs were used as menu boards depicting the main products available within the ‘Bubble Tea’’ area with ‘’Stonini’’ panelling applied to the bulkheads & lower section ( https://www.stonini.com/wall-panel-products/concrete-effects-range).

Recycled solid Tasmanian Oak tops have been utilised to add warmth, the central ceiling features were manufactured with rolled steel sections which were clad with 2mm solid steel sheeting and once again powder coated the same as the counter gantry,.

 

‘’Rockcote’’ was applied the walls within the main restaurant area by means of a trowelling application (https://www.rockcote.com.au/), the timber pergola feature area was again constructed of solid 100mm x 100mm recycled Tasmanian Oak, finished in a polyurethane product, to carry the theme, the floors have earth coloured 600mm x 600mm ceramic tiles with solid brass inserts.
