G & K Projects together with Paul Vale Smith of Pencil Ink were asked to design and construct this new and exciting hospitality project, as we already knew Stephen and Suellen from previous projects such as the shop we completed in 2015 Noodle Time fit-out in the Post Office Square centre just a couple of blocks up the road the relationship continued like before so we all got straight to work to achieve the goal Our brief was to create a new and never before seen design with a great ambiance for their new Queens Plaza venture, bearing in mind the centre is very up market and exclusive the finishes needed to be up there with the best, we held discussions with the Retail design manager and were informed this tenancy would be the bench mark for the next phase in the centre’s redevelopment. G & K Projects obtained exclusive finishes from around Australia including the special Gold glass bamboo tiles from Beaumont Tiles which were used on the counter front together with the “Jelly Fish” pendants supplied by Darcy Clark from the Gold Coast, Darcy had them specially woven with colours specifically for Noodle Time, the client was so impressed the finishes they will now both form part of the new marketing brand for Noodle Time which will be used into the future . The fit-out proceeded extremely smoothly, without any problems along the way, we wish to thank the security and centre management team who assisted us greatly with the logistics on this project. The centre’s head of retail management compiled a defects list of a total of 5 items which were immediately addressed and within 2 days we obtained final handover from the shopping centre. We wish Stephen and Suellen the best in the centre and look forward to the next fit-out in Chermside next year.
